Professional Supervision

Professional supervision that strengthens practice, expands reflective depth, and supports confident, sustainable work — grounded in a deep commitment to rural and remote children and young people, and the systems, hearts and minds that support them.

Strengthening practice where it matters most.

What We Offer

At Healing Hearts and Mind Collective, we provide structured professional supervision for individuals and teams supporting children, young people and families across health, education, community and care settings. Our supervision strengthens reflective practice, clinical reasoning, ethical decision-making and practitioner wellbeing. Drawing on contemporary understandings of child development, trauma, relational dynamics and systemic practice, sessions support confident, sustainable and thoughtful work in roles that carry complexity, responsibility and emotional demand.

Supervision is suitable for clinicians, educators, leaders and frontline practitioners seeking a reflective space to deepen their practice, strengthen decision-making and maintain professional integrity in challenging work. Sessions are available online, in person, or through a flexible hybrid model to suit individual and organisational needs.

  • Individual Clinical Supervision provides a dedicated, confidential space to focus fully on your practice. These one-to-one sessions support deep reflection on complex presentations, strengthen clinical reasoning and ethical decision-making, and explore the impact of emotionally demanding work in a respectful, non-judgemental environment.

Together, we unpack challenges, build confidence and integrate learning into everyday practice. Supervision is tailored to your role, community context and professional goals — fostering reflective, sustainable and values-aligned work.

  • Group Clinical Supervision brings professionals together in a structured, facilitated space to think reflectively and strengthen collective practice. Sessions support shared clinical reasoning, deepen understanding of complex presentations, and build consistent, thoughtful responses across teams.

Within a safe and respectful environment, participants explore case challenges, systemic pressures and the emotional demands of their roles while learning from one another’s perspectives and experience. Group supervision reduces professional isolation, strengthens team cohesion and supports the integration of shared frameworks into everyday practice.

This collaborative space fosters connection, accountability and sustained relational work — particularly valuable for multidisciplinary, rural or high-demand service environments.

  • Supervision is provided by Alexandra, an experienced Social Worker with a strong background in complex trauma, child and youth mental health, and systemic service environments. She has worked across education, government, health, out-of-home care, NDIS providers, and non-government organisations, giving her a broad understanding of how systems intersect around children and young people.

Alexandra’s approach is collaborative, reflective, and grounded in the ethical values of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW). She works alongside professionals to build confidence, insight, and sustainable practice — supporting growth, connection, and relational safety in every supervision session.

  • Professional supervision is an investment in reflective practice, workforce capability, and sustainable service delivery. Our fees are guided by the recommended rates of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) and are tailored to your context, structure, and specific needs.

    • Individual supervision: from $180 per hour

    • Group supervision: from $280 per hour

Fees may vary depending on organisational arrangements, travel requirements, or tailored service delivery.

How supervision works

Initial Conversation

We begin with a discussion to understand your role, context, goals and supervision needs. This ensures the approach is tailored and purposeful.

Establishing Focus and Framework

Together, we clarify expectations, professional standards and areas of focus — whether clinical reflection, leadership support, team development or complex case consultation.

Ongoing Reflective Sessions

Sessions provide a structured, confidential space to explore cases, systemic challenges, ethical considerations and the emotional impact of the work. Practical integration into everyday practice is prioritised.

Review and Adaptation

Supervision remains responsive. We periodically review goals and adjust focus to ensure it continues to support growth, clarity and sustainable practice.

Why Supervision Matters

Strengthened Clinical Thinking

Enhances case formulation, ethical decision-making and confidence when working with complexity.

Sustainable Practice

Supports practitioner wellbeing, reduces isolation and builds resilience in emotionally demanding roles.

Deeper Reflective Capacity

Creates space to pause, integrate learning and respond thoughtfully rather than reactively.

Improved Outcomes

Supervision keeps your practice responsive, clear, and sustainable — so you can provide the best care and support every day.
